On Sunday, we went strawberry picking. Cecily wore a shirt my mom made.
My mom is kind of a genius when it comes to sewing.
I have stared at this shirt a lot, and I still think it's sort of a miracle the way the solid colors fold into patches, creating a gathered skirt from the mixed colors between the solids.
I think the technique is in this book. But I'm pretty sure that if I read it, I still wouldn't be able to make it into a shirt.
